Led by our business purpose and our focus on people’s wellbeing, we entered into a Development Framework Agreement with the Queracucho peasant community, located in the area of influence of our San Rafael mining unit, in Puno.
The agreement is for five years, and it includes 18 initiatives that address economic, health, education, infrastructure, agriculture, institutional, risk and disaster-related issues, to benefit 80 families. It specifically includes actions to promote local employment, a program to support access to microcredit, humanitarian support to deal with frosts, health campaigns, telecommunication management, a basic rural sanitation program, infrastructure enhancement and education equipment, among others.
